Power point Presentation on the book, ERIE CANAL COUSINS, for grades K-2 with a short reading from the book. Some tips on journal writing (about 30 minutes)
Same as above but geared to grades 3-6. More detailed presentation. (about 45 minutes)
Both programs include: how the book was written and published, tips on writing, and the song, “15 Miles on the Erie Canal”
UTICA’S MARVELOUS PAST
Power point Presentation on the book, Three Weeks in Utica, for grades K-2 with a short reading from the book. (about 30 minutes)

Find out what school was like in a one-room schoolhouse in the 1800s. Listen to a chapter of this book describing a typical day spent there. Participate in some paper and pencil activities, games, and singing. A fun program for all ages

–based on the book Canal Town Christmas. Includes the origins of Thanksgiving and Christmas in the USA and how they became Holidays, all in a heartwarming family story.
THE SAUQUOIT ACADEMY (Power Point) —based on the book On Academy Street. The story of the Sauquoit Academy that was kind of a glorified high school with many upscale courses where students would board with residents of Sauquoit, or come on the train from Chadwicks, Willowvale, etc. Tuition was charged per course.
THE BASIN AND THE BOOK (Power Point) NEW The story of the Holman City Basin on which my book, Holman City Mystery is based. Yes, there really is a basin on Holman City Road.
